Thanks to the latest modern research, a significant step has been taken in understanding the nature of hair diseases caused by genetic causes, information about which has been critically insufficient for a long time. These data served as the basis for the creation of this cycle, the purpose of which is to present an effective approach to the diagnosis and treatment of children with hair pathology.

The program of the educational course will consider modern aspects of the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the hair and scalp in children. A unique material will be presented on current views on trichogenesis and gene regulation of hair proteins, the peculiarities of counseling children with hair loss and trichoscopic diagnostics in pediatric practice. Along with common conditions, the program includes the study of the rarest clinical and pathogenetic data and differential diagnostic algorithms for hereditary and congenital atrichia, hypotrichosis and hair shaft defects. The author of the cycle will give recommendations on the practical implementation of strategies for the treatment of trichopathies in children. The discussion of the peculiarities of hair diseases is accompanied by a rich illustration of original clinical cases. The abundance of information collected in it will be useful in the work of dermatologists, pediatricians and geneticists.

REVIEWS

Training at the Trichology Institute provides an opportunity to participate in the treatment process of the clinic in an atmosphere of collegial communication. The methodological material is presented in the author's monographs and literature. Specially equipped classrooms and clinical rooms of the European level allow you to successfully acquire knowledge and practical skills in trichology. Classes are held from 10.00 to 18.00, 2 coffee breaks and a lunch for the students of the clinic are provided daily. After completing the course, a personal certificate is issued and, upon request, a state certificate of TU KhMAPO. Further training in pediatric trichology can be an on-site educational course.
