Fundamental trichoscopy (TU)
Dear Colleagues;
At present, trichoscopy is recognized as the gold standard and an indispensable component of the examination of a trichological patient and, in our opinion, the main practical skill for a trichologist. Our fundamental course is addressed to both novice doctors and specialists who regularly use trichoscopy in their daily work.
In recent years, numerous original research results have been obtained, and trichoscopic knowledge is multiplying at a tremendous rate around the world. In this educational cycle, we tried to systematize, unify, pass through ourselves and give out the quintessence of knowledge and experience in trichoscopy, which we were lucky to acquire in clinical practice and analyzing the experience of experts.

We are sure that a reliable interpretation of the results of trichoscopy is possible only in the context of clinical evaluation. To simplify the perception of a large amount of information, the course material is generalized into algorithmic differential diagnostic systems based on the clinical pattern of local, diffuse, marginal hair loss of scarring and non-scarring types. Clinical and histological correlations will be made to trichoscopic criteria to recognize a variety of hair diseases, and the keys to diagnosing disease activity, choosing and monitoring therapy will be presented based on the known property of trichoscopy to reflect pathophysiological processes.
